GASCI (www.gasci.com/telephone Nº 223-6175/6) reports that session 368’s trading results showed consideration of $6,032,873 from 439,863 shares traded in 19 transactions as compared to session 367 which showed consideration of $2,639,535 from 140,890 shares traded in 13 transactions.  The stocks active during this week’s session were DIH, DBL, DDL, BTI and SPL.

A one-day media workshop was hosted by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) yesterday in an effort to enhance journalists’ reports on issues in the business/ finance field, particularly in the private sector, and the need for specialization was one of the key points stressed.

Private sector delegation to visit Kuwait - investments in banking, airline service to be explored

Tourism, Industry and Commerce Minister Manniram Prashad will lead a delegation from the private sector to Kuwait sometime between October 2010 and January 2011.

This announcement was made by Minister Prashad at a press conference held at the Tourism Ministry on Thursday.
