The workshop, which will take place on Wednesday August 11, 2010 at Regency Suites from 08:30 to 16:30 hours, will provide a forum to discuss challenges within the media environment and allow for professionals to gain tips which will enhance their efficiency, promote their services and also share their ideas.
It will be facilitated by Mr. Milton Walker, who has extensive experience in the Media and has been honoured on two occasions by the Jamaica Press Association. The Caribbean Broadcasting Union also awarded Mr. Walker with the award for Investigative Journalism as well as for a documentary on Caribbean Integration.
Preceding the workshop will be an opening ceremony which will feature brief remarks by Junior Vice President of GCCI, Mr. Terence Holder; President of the Guyana Press Association, Mr. Gordon Moseley; and Vice Chairman of the Private Sector Commission (PSC), Mr. Yog Mahadeo.
The Chamber is pleased to continue the exciting work it's doing in this arena, and to partake in expanding the knowledge of media professionals in Guyana.
